In a press announcement, Rathi Group has stated that it has signed an MoU with the Indian Tyre Technical Advisory Committee (ITTAC) to strengthen technical collaboration around recovered carbon black (rCB) and its responsible integration into tyre applications
Indian pyrolysis companies clearly have a role to play in the future of tyre recycling and it is critical that they move towards higher standards and eschew the reputation earned from some traditional practices.
This initiative focuses on deeper evaluation and improvement of rCB properties through structured industry–academia engagement, with active technical involvement from the Indian Tyre Technical Advisory Committee (ITTAC).
Rathi Group states that it sincerely appreciates ATMA / ITTAC’s leadership in bringing together the country’s foremost technical experts, tyre manufacturers, and research institutions onto a common platform. By driving a collaborative and science-led approach, ATMA / ITTAC is playing a pivotal role in accelerating the development, evaluation, and adoption of circular materials for the tyre industry and in taking industry–academia partnership to the next level.
