Niutech Technology Group has completed a group restructuring aimed at supporting its activities in chemical recycling of waste tyres and plastics
Niutech’s restructuring was completed on 26 August 2026 and builds on almost 40 years of experience in industrial continuous pyrolysis. The company develops and manufactures pyrolysis equipment and also provides project investment, construction and operational services.
As demand for recycled materials increases, Niutech has introduced a new generation of large-scale industrial continuous pyrolysis equipment, designed to increase processing capacity and improve operating efficiency, cost control and product quality.
For waste tyre processing, the new line can handle more than 100 tonnes per day in a single unit. Niutech said the recovered carbon black produced through the process can achieve toluene transmittance above 80%, with the material intended for use as a feedstock for carbon black applications, including tyre manufacturing.
The company is already operating the technology in several markets. In China, its majority-owned Hesheng Environmental Protection facility, commissioned in 2013, has operated for more than 10 years. In 2026, Hesheng began a 100,000-tonne Phase II project using Niutech’s new-generation equipment, which is expected to increase the site’s total capacity to 160,000 tonnes per year.
Niutech also said a UK customer has placed an RMB 198 million order for its waste plastic chemical recycling technology following an assessment of its projects and equipment.
