InnoVent Renewables Mexico (IVR) has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with ProDynamics, a tyre distributor in Mexico, to expand tyre recycling facilities using IVR’s proprietary tyre pyrolysis process
The LOI between IVR Mexico and ProDynamics includes expanding tyre pyrolysis capacity in Monterrey, Mexico, by an additional 1 million passenger tyres, while also establishing additional tyre recycling and pyrolysis facilities in other states, such as Guadalajara, Mexico.
“We’re excited about partnering with ProDynamics, an environmentally forward-thinking organisation with access to millions of end-of-life tyres (ELT). With 81 tyre distribution centres across Mexico, our goal is to set up tyre recycling and pyrolysis facilities alongside their facilities, produce valuable renewable products such as pyrolysis oil, carbon black, recycled steel and gas, all while reducing carbon emissions”, said Sergio Trevino, Managing Director of InnoVent Renewables Mexico.
