Poland’s Recykl Group has cemented its position as the second-largest tyre recycler in Europe. According to Przemyslaw Zaprzalski, Group R&D Director, the company built its leading position through a unique approach: developing its own dedicated infrastructure that covers everything from tyre collection to end-product manufacturing
Because it collects its own feedstock, the business is not reliant on gate fees. Figures from Astutus Research show that Recykl Group processes around 150,000 tons of tyres each year, which equates to roughly 7% of all end-of-life tyres processed in Europe.
