Fornnax Technology has appointed Lukas Baur of NOBA Maschinenservice as its authorised service partner for the European Union, marking a key step in the company’s efforts to strengthen on-the-ground support for its expanding European customer base
Baur brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience in maintaining, servicing and overhauling industrial shredders, covering welding, hardfacing, shaft and knife rebuilds, complex assembly and hydraulics. Electrical engineering work is handled in coordination with a trusted partner company based in Halle/Saale.
Operating from a central base in Worbis, Germany, Baur is well placed to reach customers across the EU within 24 hours in an emergency, covering a service radius of roughly 1,000 kilometres.
Baur’s team operates 12 Mercedes Sprinter service vans and includes 24 skilled technicians, backed by specialised bearing-change tooling, a fully equipped hydraulic workshop, and a 1,000 square-metre facility fitted with a 5-tonne crane track. Fornnax says this level of resourcing means Baur’s operation can handle the full scope of its European service requirements.
Jignesh Kundaria, Director and CEO of Fornnax, commented on the strategic thinking behind the appointment: “We strongly believe that by continuously improving our service quality and customer satisfaction index, we can build long-term relationships with our customers. Higher customer satisfaction leads to greater trust, which significantly increases repeat orders and ultimately drives sustained growth in our sales revenue.”
The appointment reflects Fornnax’s wider strategy of building a dedicated network of service partners across Europe, rather than relying solely on remote support. With Baur now part of that network, the company says European customers can expect faster response times and technical support from a partner familiar with the demands of high-throughput shredding operations.
The move is part of Fornnax’s broader ambition to position itself as the preferred shredding solution provider across Europe’s recycling industry.
