Italian tyre recovery consortium, Eco Tyre, has announced that its devlucanisation project has shown proven results in real life use on retreaded Hankook tyres.

The tyres were retreaded using materials including a compound that had a percentage of devulcanised rubber included. The results, according to were very positive and Eco Tyre looks forward to seeing more use of devulcanised rubber in both retreaded and new tyres.
