Enviro Appoints Alpner as Site Manager for its Swedish Plants

Enviro recruits for continued industrialisation and expansion

Enviro Appoints Site Manager

Enviro has made strategic recruitment by employing Fredrik Alpner as the Site Manager for the company’s plant in Åsensbruk and future plant in Uddevalla. Alpner has a long-standing background as a production manager in the global processing industry and will take up a new role that will contribute to both the continued industrialisation and commercialisation of Enviro’s leading recycling technology and realising the company’s expansion plan.

Enviro is currently in an intense phase in which the company is scaling up industrialisation of its recycling technology by establishing the company’s first full-scale recycling plant in Chile together with Michelin. At the same time, the company’s expansion plan is gradually being implemented, with the aim of establishing a recycling capacity of a total of 900,000 tonnes of end-of-life tyres by 2030. In autumn 2021, the company applied for an environmental permit for establishing a full-scale recycling plant in Uddevalla.

Fredrik Alpner has a long-standing background in the processing industry that has included roles as production and site manager for the global chemical producer Grace Catalyst’s plant in Stenungsund.

“This is a particularly strategic recruitment since we have found in Fredrik Alpner someone who has exactly the experience and expertise that are critical to this very phase that Enviro is now experiencing. Fredrik Alpner will play a key role in our continued development and the recruitment marks a new and important step in our important work to industrialise our technology and carry out our expansion plan,” says Thomas Sörensson, CEO of Enviro.

Fredrik Alpner will take office in mid-April this year and will initially work as the Site Manager of Enviro’s Åsensbruk plant. It is then planned that he will assume responsibility for the future plant in Uddevalla in the role of Site Manager.
