Maj Invest has secured a 51% share of Genan according to its most recent announcement.
Genan Has a New Owner
Danish-based tyre recycler Genan has a new owner, Maj Invest, a Danish investment firm. Maj Invest has taken a 51 per cent share of the firm from its previous majority shareholder PKA pensions fund. PKA acquired Genan after a fraud case left the company in a parlous state, and the pensions investors at risk of losing all their funds.
Now, PKA remains the minority owner of the firm.
