Recycling Forum Returns

The successful Tyre Recycling Forum, which took place at The Tire, Cologne, in 208 is to be repeated in 2020.

TRR Tyre Recycling Forum to return to The Tire in 2020

The format will be similar, and we have already spoken to a number of potential speakers who might wish to address the Forum across a range of tyre recycling topics. As well as market analysis of the markets in Europe, India, China and the Americas, we hope to have input from tyre manufacturers or their representatives in EPR schemes.

There have been many commercial developments in a dynamic market over the past two tears and we will reflect upon those developments with panels on micronised rubber, devulcanisation and pyrolysis.

The tyre market can with current technology only address a maximum of 50% of arisings, so there needs to be discussion about the future markets for the unused element of tyre arisings – especially in the light of tighter environmental controls on emissions and microplastics.

Tyre and Rubber Recycling welcomes input from potential speakers on any of the above subjects. Proposals can be submitted to the editor Ewan Scott through the magazine contact page  https://www.tyreandrubberrecycling.com/contact/  or through Linkedin messaging.
