Tyre Stewardship Australia (TSA) has opened Round 4 of its Market Development Fund, offering up to $300,000 to projects that support the commercial use of materials derived from recycled end-of-life tyres
The TSA fund is open to projects in sectors including construction, manufacturing, healthcare, property and the broader built environment. Eligible projects must use tyre-derived material sourced from Australia’s recycled end-of-life tyres, be co-funded on a 1:1 basis and be led by an Australian business working with a commercial industry partner.
According to TSA, previous projects supported through the fund have included rubber-modified civil infrastructure, permeable surfaces and water-sensitive urban design, commercial and industrial flooring, and manufacturing applications using tyre-derived materials.
Applications for the latest funding round opened on 1 September and will close on 6 October 2026.
