At the IFAT 2026 exhibition in Munich, Vary Tech showcased its extensive advanced recycling portfolio while cementing major strategic partnerships with specialty chemicals giant Evonik and engineering firm SupeZET
Founded in 2006, the Chinese system integrator boasts over 20 years of deep-rooted expertise in solid waste management and end-of-life tyre (ELT) resource recovery. The company integrates process design, technology R&D, manufacturing, and global marketing services to deliver complete physical and chemical recycling systems.
By leveraging international technical resources from the US, Japan, Germany, and Russia, Vary Tech has developed a proprietary oxygen-free pyrolysis technology. Designed specifically for large-scale, stable, and continuous industrial operation, the system processes complex waste streams that defy conventional mechanical recycling methods. The technology has already seen multi-regional deployments, targeting both “white pollution” (waste plastics) and “black pollution” (scrap tyres).
Vary Tech customises its pyrolysis hardware configurations—offering continuous, semi-continuous, and batch configurations—to match specific project scales, feedstock qualities, and regional regulatory frameworks.
The company’s heavy-duty tyre pyrolysis lines feature a capacity of up to 100 tonnes per day (tpd) per single reactor set. This allows for industrial-scale processing of both whole and pre-shredded tyres, alongside tough technical rubber fractions like hoses, seals, and conveyor belts. Each oxygen-free pyrolysis unit will produce pyrolysis gas (10-12%), pyrolysis oil (40-45%), steel wire (10-15%) and pyrolysis carbon (35-40%).
To date, Vary Tech has served more than 1,000 customers in the solid waste recycling sector and delivered over 4,000 equipment installations worldwide. Its project references include more than 150 complete WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) recycling lines and over 100 organic solid waste pyrolysis installations spanning markets such as South Korea, Japan, Brazil, India, Spain, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Furthermore, IFAT 2026 served as the launchpad for Vary Tech’s latest international expansion phase. The company signed a strategic agreement with SupeZET to establish a joint venture platform in Singapore: Carbon Loop Systems Pte. Ltd. This new entity will focus squarely on plastic chemical recycling and developing commercial biomass-to-SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) pathways.
Concurrently, to support Singapore’s Zero Waste Masterplan, a secondary Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Vary Tech, SupeZET, Evonik, and Singapore-based JE Synergy. This alliance will develop a closed-loop demonstration project targeting post-consumer plastics to address the growing regional demand for traceable, compliant, and circular feedstocks in the petrochemical and materials industries.
Ultimately, the establishment of these agreements marks a step forward in Vary Tech’s international expansion, allowing the company to deepen its presence in Southeast Asia and build integrated, low-carbon projects.
Aeon Song, Vice President of Vary Tech said, “Looking ahead, we are committed to driving continuous technological breakthroughs in the green energy and low-carbon advanced materials sectors, contributing to the powerhouse of ‘Intelligent Manufacturing in China’ to the global dual-carbon industry.”
