Dmitrovsky RTI Plant has launched a new recycling line for tyres up to 4.5 m in diameter, the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow region reports

“The Dmitrovsky RTI Plant has been operating in the Moscow region since 2012 and is the country’s largest tyre recycling company. Today, the company employs more than 300 residents of the Moscow region. Last year, more than ₽1 billion was invested in the development of collection facilities and infrastructure. Investments in the launch of a new production line for the processing of oversized tyres amounted to 200 million rubles. This year, the company also plans to launch a waste recycling line,” said Ekaterina Zinovieva, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region and Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.

The Dmitrovsky RTI Plant also engages in the processing of electronics, textiles and shoes, as well as the production of tiles made of rubber chips and other finished products made from recycled materials.

The new recycling line capacity is 10 tonnes per hour, which allows the company to process about 70,000 tonnes annually, equalling over 2,000 large-sized quarry tyres.
