Rumal Plans to Close the Recycling Circle – Issue 2014-3

Rumal, the Dutch rubber granulate and crumb producer, is set to announce plans to further develop its recycling process by introducing new pyrolysis technology to recycle car tyres at its plant in Weert, Netherlands. The company is also looking to introduce devulcanisation technology to recycle truck tyres to produce devulcanised rubber for conveyor belt and solid tyre manufacturers. This was revealed by Kargro Group Director Jan Driessen and Rumal Managing Director Jan van den Brand during a visit to the company’s headquarters recently.
