Recycla Pushing into Latin American Markets

Residuos Expo 2026 brought together more than 7,600 professionals and over 350 brands with international representation, confirming its position as one of the key meeting points for the waste management and recycling sector in Mexico and Latin America.

Recycla Américas participated in Residuos Expo within a changing regulatory framework following the publication of the decree establishing the Ley General de Economía Circular, which aims to promote longer product lifecycles, reduce waste generation and encourage greater recovery and valorisation of materials.

Recycla Américas presented a range of solutions designed for waste processing and material preparation, with a focus on operational performance, equipment availability and process efficiency. The company’s portfolio included systems for volume reduction and primary and secondary material processing, as well as recycling solutions for PET and tyres.

The company also showcased its range of industrial blades for shredding equipment, compatible with major machinery brands, along with technical service, spare parts and operational support for maintaining plant productivity and reducing downtime.

“Our approach is clear: from recycler to recycler. We do not just manufacture machinery; we also understand real operational processes, maintenance requirements and continuous improvement. This enables us to turn projects into fully operational plants with performance and traceability,” said Salvador Pérez Lucena, Global Chief Sales Officer of the Industrial Division at Grupo Soledad.

As part of its strategy in Mexico, Recycla Américas is strengthening its local support structure, including engineering, commissioning, technical service, training and spare parts supply. These activities are coordinated with the group’s technical and industrial teams. The goal is to provide support throughout the full project cycle, from plant design and sizing to implementation and operational optimisation.
