Karl Kurz Retires from Kurz Karkassenhandel

Kurz Karkassenhandel

For over 65 years Karl Kurz spent a working life in the tyre industry, building up Kurz Karkassenhandel to be one of the most recognised tyre casing and tyre recyclers in Germany.

Hanna Schöberl Steps-Up at Kurz

Karl Kurz will be 89 years old at the end of the year. He is in good health and has now handed over responsibility for the company completely to his grand-daughter Hanna Schöberl, who has been Managing Director since 2017 and has been with the company for more than ten years.

He looks back on his life's work with satisfaction. He is grateful that he has been able to give the industry so much impetus that he has manoeuvred the company over all the years over all the ups and downs and that he now has a successor who has taken over the reins and continues the company in his ethos. Together with his wife Mathilde, with whom he celebrates a Golden Wedding anniversary, he will enjoy his new-found leisure time.
