Top provinces for used tyre collection in Ecuador in 2021
Since 2018, when the Ecuadorian Comprehensive Management System for Used Tyres , SEGINUS, was created, 3.3 million tyres have been given a second use.
These tyres were given a second use and have been used for granulating processes (52 per cent), in pyrolysis (24 per cent), cogeneration of energy (23 per cent) and in the production of handicrafts with 1 per cent.
