Liberty Tire Recycling has recently acquired All American Tire, Colt Tire Recycling and Genan Inc., expanding its Gulf Coast operations and strengthening its tyre collection, recycling and processing network across Texas and Louisiana
The acquisitions create what Liberty Tire Recycling describes as the region’s most comprehensive tyre recycling network, increasing capacity and expanding its ability to provide integrated collection, processing and recycled material solutions to retailers, manufacturers and local authorities across the Gulf Coast.
“We have always been about bringing together proven partners who have built something that enhances Liberty – and All American, Colt and Genan do just that,” said Thomas Womble, CEO of Liberty Tire Recycling. “We look forward to combining our expertise with their proven success to provide customers across the Gulf Coast with expanded capabilities, stronger regional service and new opportunities for sustainable end-of-life tyre management.”
Texas-based All American Tire adds a leading tyre collection and crumb rubber operation serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area, while Louisiana’s Colt Tire Recycling brings expertise in tyre collection and the use of recycled rubber in civil engineering applications. The acquisition of Genan’s US business further strengthens Liberty’s processing capabilities and expands its manufacturing footprint in the region.
Liberty confirmed that senior leaders from all three businesses will join the company to ensure continuity for customers and employees. As part of the transition, Genan’s US Managing Director, Thomas Boehme, will continue to support the business in a new role with Liberty.
