At IFAT Munich 2026, Harden presented its latest shredding and sorting technologies, focusing on applications for waste processing, recycling and resource recovery
Founded in 2010 in China and currently employing over 240 people, Harden focuses on the design, engineering, and manufacturing of industrial shredders, sorting machines and processing lines tailored for diverse solid waste applications.
During the exhibition, Harden highlighted its approach to improving material recovery efficiency through integrated shredding and sorting systems designed for different types of waste, including tyres.
The company showcased a range of single-shaft, two-shaft and one-step shredders equipped with proprietary cutting systems, alongside modular screening and air separation technologies aimed at improving impurity removal and supporting RDF and SRF production.
Harden Single-Shaft Shredder features an arc-shaped feeding system, intelligent drive, high-precision cutting mechanism and quick-adjustment cutting gap. The Single-Shaft Shredder SL-Series is suitable for a wide range of materials, including tyres, with a 3-5t/h maximum throughout capacity, 40-130mm particle size and 90-160kw driving power.
The Single-Shaft Shredder-SG Series integrates multiple patented technologies such as intelligent built-in arc pressing, extremely small gap shearing, close-packed granule shaft, and rapid gap adjustment. It has a 6-20t/h maximum throughout capacity, 30-100mm particle size and 132*2-250*2kw driving power.
Harden Two-Shaft Shredder series features a low-speed, high-torque design for challenging materials, including waste tyres. It operates at low noise levels, adapting to diverse production requirements, while improving efficiency and reducing costs.
The Two-Shaft Shredder-TD Series is mainly used in high-loading crushing and coarse crushing occasions, featuring two sets of shafts with blades running relatively to form a shearing force. It features a 3-30t/h maximum throughout capacity, 50-120mm particle size and 45*2-132*2kw driving power.
The Two-Shaft Shredder-TDH Series represents hydraulic motor-driven two-shaft shredders, used for heavy-duty shredding of tough materials, including waste tyres. The shredder can turn forward and reverse without stopping the motor at any time, with 2-30t/h maximum throughout capacity, a 60-100mm particle size and 132/200kw driving power.
