New Tyre & Rubber Recycling Digital Version Now Live

Issue four for 2022 is now available, and it looks at some key changes facing the tyre recycling sector in Europe.

The introductory feature is an analysis of the crumb rubber threat from the proposed microplastics ban; We speak to Poul Steen Rasmussen from Euric and Genan, and also Dr Ettore Musacchi from ETRA.

We also interview Vishesh Agarwal from India’s AIRTRA to understand changes in Indian recycling, including the coming EPR scheme and how it impacts on imports of ELT to India.

There is change too at SDAB as Sweden’s EPR agency moves to take full control of the country’s tyre arisings to maximise value from the material and increase recycling.

Company reports include a visit to Pyrum Innovations, Rubber Recycling Overpelt and Tyromer Europe. Plus news from Chile, and a new tyre inspection technology from Regom in France.

Closing the issue off is an article based on Tyre Stewardship Australia’s Northern Territories Report.
