Who we are

Retreading Business Ltd is a family owned, independent magazine publishing company specialising in business-to-business publications for the global tyre and automotive industries. Our current publications are Retreading Business, Tyre & Rubber Recycling and Commercial Tyre Business.

Data security is of key importance to us. In order to ensure information we hold on you is secure, we have established physical, managerial and electronic procedures to secure the information we collect and hold.

Information Held

Any data held by us is restricted to name, address, e-mail address and contact phone numbers. If you have contacted or interacted with us, we may also keep a record of your e-mail or other correspondence. If you have conducted financial transactions with us, we may keep a record of those transactions

Data is kept for one of three reasons. Either-

- You have consented to us holding your data

- We need to hold the data in order to conduct and manage a transaction or potential transaction with yourself.

- In order to provide you with information, which we believe will be of legitimate interest to yourself.

Transfer of Your Information

When we send you a magazine, send you an e-newsletter or conduct a financial transaction with you, we will need to pass on your data to relevant partners, who can help us do this. This includes our magazine mailing house, our e-mail marketing software provider (Mailchimp), our invoicing software provider (Quickbooks), and selected delivery companies, such as DHL, Royal Mail etc. In the case of data being sent to our mailing house, this is transferred only via the mailing house’s secure GDPR compliant system, and only for the purpose of carrying out our own mailings.

Controlling Your Information

We will not pass on your data to other third parties without your consent or unless we are required to do so by law.
