Tyrexpo Asia Goes Hybrid

The organisers of Tyrexpo Asia, scheduled for November 17-19, 2021, have been working closely with the local authorities in Singapore with a view to complying with safety management measures, and arrangements for the show still remain on track.

New Hybrid Format Planned

Tyrexpo Asia will proceed as planned if the situation relating to Covid-19 continues to improve, but, in the meantime, a new implementation involving digital elements has been made, which will co-exist alongside the “live” event, which exhibitors and attendees can still participate in over the course of the three days.

In meeting all health & safety regulations including social distancing, the original floorplan for Tyrexpo Asia 2021 has been specially redesigned, and the event’s international sales team will be in touch with all confirmed exhibitors to explain the new floorplan and other relevant changes.

The show will proceed with confirmed exhibitors and visitors who are able to safely travel to Singapore (meeting all current immigration regulations). In the meantime, companies for whom international travel is still not possible will be provided with the innovative option of using a fully operational ‘Digital Platform’ to connect with the show site ‘live’.

Alwin Seow, Project Director of Tyrexpo Asia explained; “The main issue arising from our conversations with attendees revolves around the ever-changing international travel requirements. Therefore, improvisions are being implemented with a view to continuity by providing the show with a ‘hybrid’ element connecting onsite and online, to accommodate all attendees with both travelling and non-travelling options.

“Live conference/seminar programmes are still on track with live Q&A’s, and attendees can arrange pre-scheduled or live seamless face-to-face video meetings during the 3-day event. Working closely with our tech platform provider expertise, the digital platform is an effective and excellent way of meeting and conducting new business in the industry and is definitely a working formula we believe will sit perfectly alongside our live show.”

Tyrexpo Asia 2021 will constantly keep the global tyre, wheel and automotive market informed of ongoing developments concerning the event in a series of updated future press releases leading up to the show.
