Enviro and Windspace Apply for Permissions for Danish Plant

Windspace and Enviro’s plant project in Denmark is now entering the next phase – the company Elysium Nordic, which will be a joint venture, has applied for a building permit and environmental approval at Nyborg municipality. Elysium Nordic held an information meeting for residents and institutions from the surrounding areas.

“At the meeting, we presented preliminary 3D drawings so that everyone could get an idea of how we plan to construct the plant. The goal is to start the construction phase before the end of the year,” says Jens Elton Andersen, CEO of Windspace and Elysium Nordic.

The plant project in Denmark started just over a year ago when Enviro and Windspace signed an MoU for the establishment of a recycling plant. Since then, a lease agreement for the construction site has been signed, and now the building permit application has been submitted.

“Our goal has for a long time been to establish plants for profitable material recovering and re-introduce these materials to reduce CO2 emissions compared to virgin carbon black used in, for example, the tire, rubber and plastics industry. Considering the increasing demand for our rCB and recovered oil, its positive that the plant project in Denmark is progressing at a fast pace,” says Thomas Sörensson, CEO Enviro.
